Short overview of the application procedure
The applications can be submitted online to the MENJE all year round via a digital platform.
Researchers and students affiliated with the University of Luxembourg (UL) can submit their application via the ServiceNow platform. Please note: For students of the Bachelor en Sciences de l’éducation a special procedure applies. Please contact your study programme administration.
UL researchers can ask for access to the online platform Service Now under the following link: https://service.uni.lu/sp.
UL students can ask for access to the online platform Service Now via the Student Portal under the following link: https://service.uni.lu/ssp
Click Home > All Catalogues > Research and Education > Bridgebuilder > BB – Researcher access. Then fill out and submit the form, requesting access rights to the module “Bridgebuilder”.
Under the above indicated links you can find a Userguide and consult the list of documents that need to be included in the application.

Researchers and students affiliated with another university or research institute can contact bridge-builder-script@men.lu to receive the necessary information and forms.
Depending on the type of your project and application (data collection, data matching), you will have to complete the corresponding parts of the online form which will be submitted to the Bridgebuilder teams.
If you have any problems logging on to the platform or have any questions about the form, please contact bridge-builder@uni.lu It is important that the organization of your research is clear and fully documented so that the service of the MENJE in charge of your application can clearly understand what you plan to do during your research project (e.g., what are the steps, who will be involved, what resources are needed, how long will it take, who is responsible for what….).
Data matching requests: If you want to ask for a data matching with the data of the Luxembourg School Monitoring Programme „Épreuves Standardisées“ (ÉpStan), please explain the added value of the data matching for your research questions or your project. Before submitting this application form, please contact the ÉpStan team via email (data@epstan.lu) to discuss your demand for data matching and its feasibility.
Once your application submitted, the Bridgebuilder team members will check if the application is complete and will transmit it to the responsible service of MENJE. If any points within your application are unclear, the Bridgebuilder teams can return your application and ask you for further explanation.
The final decision concerning the approval or the rejection of your application will be taken by the concerned MENJE services (e.g. Service de l’enseignement fondamental, Service de l’enseignement secondaire, etc.). The official response letter will then be communicated to you through the online platform.
